STATE OF ARIZONA TAX CREDIT

The State of Arizona offers its taxpayers the opportunity to make contributions to schools and non-profit organizations that reduce the amount of tax owed to the state or increase the amount of the taxpayer’s refund, dollar-for-dollar. There are three main communities tax credit donations serve: Public Schools, Private School Tuition Organizations, and Military Family Relief Fund. Donors may contribute to any or all of them. To learn more, please visit Arizona Department of Revenue. Note: Donors must have a tax liability for at least the amount of the donation in order to take a tax credit. In other words, if $500 is owed to the State of Arizona, the donor cannot receive $1,000 in tax credits.

DONATIONS IN-PERSON OR VIA MAIL

The following information is required for the district’s report to the Arizona Department of Revenue to verify eligibility for the tax credit allowed by A.R.S. §43 - 1089.01. A receipt will be mailed to the donor.
  1. Select a School 
  2. Select Program 
  3. Complete Tax Credit Response Form
  4. Mail or Deliver Contribution to School Bookstore
Note: If a program is not designated, your contribution will be applied to the school’s general fund for extracurricular programs. Donations must be postmarked by April 15.
