Student Council

About: Student Council seeks to provide a valuable leadership partnership between students and their school by raising money and helping out with school activities such as running school assemblies. Sponsored by Ms. Minck.

Officers for 2011-2012: President is Garrett Gutierrez, Vice-President is Alexis Miraldi, Treasurer is Kimberly Coerth, Secretary is Michelle Do, Senior Class President is Michael Busch, Junior Class President is Kylie Collins, Freshmen President is Skylynn Wiles.

Updates:

  • Student Council Constitution Ratification meeeting will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011during lunch in Room 5.

  • Water Day - May 13 ($1 per student)
  • Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser

Interact Club

About: A branch of Rotary Club of Casa Grande, their goals are to perform community service activities for Casa Grande. Sponsored by Ms. Nalepa.

National Honor Society

About: NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. NHS is big on community service, fundraising, and sponsoring school events. Sponsored by Mr. Cota.

  • CVHS Winter Ball begins on Dec. 9th. Single tickets are $5 and Couples tickets are $7. The attire is semi-formal. Please buy your tickets from Mercedes Anderson or ask a NHS member.
