Mr. Heil has been teaching, coaching, and administrating in Casa Grande for the past 11 years. He has been principal at Casa Verde for 3 years and is very proud of the accomplishments of the staff and students.

Charmaine Ramon is the administrative assistant to Mr. Heil, Principal of Casa Verde High School.  Charmaine started with CVHS in August of 2011.  Prior to coming to CVHS, she worked as a 911 dispatcher and she has also worked as a school registrar for another high school in Arizona.  Charmaine has three children: 21 year old Sarah Ramon, 18 year old Joseph Ramon, and 14 year old Darrell Sean Ramon.  She was blessed with her first grandchild; Brycen Kenneth Ramon who was born on October 5, 2011.

Ms. Hansen teaches the 8 different levels of art courses available at Casa Verde starting with Basic Art to College Prep Art classes. In her classes, students will have the opportunity to work with different mediums, to expand with different ideas, and to develop their own creative style in each level.  In addition, she is the sponsor for the Visual Arts Club at Casa Verde.

Outside of teaching Art, Ms. Hansen loves to travel, spend time with family and work on different types of art like drawing, painting, printmaking, and ceramics. Currently, she is a member of an Artist Collective called Monorchid Artist Collective and holds a space at the Monorchid Gallery in Phoenix, Arizona.

Mr. Cota from Mayville State University in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in secondary mathematics educatiojn and a minor in coaching. In 2010 he earned his Master's degree fromt he University of Phoenix in cross-categorial special education in 2010. He has 8 years of teaching experience including 2 years of 8th grade math, 3 years of middle school special education, and 4 years of high school math. He is now the NHS Supervisor.

Mr. Joice graduated from California State Fullerton with his degree in Kinesiology. He grew up in La Mirada, California, and attended La Mirada High School. Over thirty years ago, Mr. Joice began his coaching career, which eventually led to his teaching profession. Starting as a high school coach in California, he helped aspiring athletes in areas such as football, wrestling, baseball, volleyball, and track. It was actually his freshmen football team that inspired him to pursue a career in teaching. Because of them, he went back to college and made the Dean's List. As a teacher, he has taught various subjects like PE, Health, History, Driver's Ed, Sociology, and Government. A few of his students nominated him for the Who's Who of America Teacher award and he won one of the positions.

Mr. Joice is a lifelong Packers fan. He enjoys the cinematic arts as well as all types of music. He believes you should give 100% in everything you do. His past professions include a truck driver and sheet metal worker. At Casa Verde, he teaches PE and Health.

Dr. Johnson has been teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Anatomy at Casa Verde for 7 years. He graduated from Trenton State as an undergraduate and then the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. Dr. Bob has been a licensed chiropractor since 1982 and has worked as a chiropractor until 2002. In addition to his work at CVHS, he has worked at Central Arizona College since 2009. Dr. Bob enjoys mountain bike riding, commenting on cute shoes, and enjoys making "observant" comments about others. He really likes CV, enjoys the small school atmosphere and community. He says that you actually get to know your students here unlike other larger schools. He really loves his job.

Born in southern California, Mr. Pollitt has been teaching in the CGUHS District for 5 years ongoing. His credentials include a BA in Speech Communication, BA in Psychology, MA in Psychology - Test Development, BS in Criminology, and a JD in Juvenile Law. Has taught at Desert Winds for 5 years and this is his first year at Casa Verde. He previously worked at Fresno State and Pima Community . As a teacher, he is qualified to teach Math, English and Science. At Casa Verde, he teaches Scientific Inquiry and Physics at Casa Verde.

Mr. JW Salazar is the In-School Suspension (ISS) and campus security supervisor with seven years of employment with the Casa Grande High School District. Mr. Salazar retired as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps with 30 years of service. He also retired as a fire captain with the City of Phoenix with 21 years of service.

Ms. Minck received her Bachelors and Masters from the University of Central Florida ('80, '86). She has taught in Casa Grande since 1993. She teaches American History, World History, and American Government. She is also certified to teach P.E. Ms. Minck is the CVHS Student Council sponsor.
